Located in Terricciola, a small medieval village ideally situated in the "Chianti Pisano" hills between Pisa and Volterra and about 40 km from the coast, it commands spectacular views across the region. This part of Tuscany is also known as the Etruscan Valley which derives its name from the inhabitants of ancient Etruria who arrived here in 8C B.C. and populated the region. Our villa contains four recently refurbished apartments in traditional Tuscan style. The apartments have all been carefully renovated to maintain a true rustic Tuscan feel, with many still retaining their original terracotta floors, beamed or open rafter ceilings and original stone or brick walls. The Santoni family live on the 1st floor of the villa (left side). There are three further holiday apartments on the property belonging to the Santoni family: one further apartment on the ground floor of the main villa and two apartments in a separate cottage approximately 50 m away from the villa, set slightly on a hill and surrounded by an olive grove. Guests may use the outside facilities belonging to the Villa "In Toscana". If you are a lover of nature, good wine and genuine gourmet cuisine and are looking for the peace and tranquillity of the countryside then you need look no further. If you enjoy discovering the medieval traditions of the country villages with their typical centuries old atmosphere as well as the many cultural treasures of our Tuscan cities then we can only extend an invitation to come and visit us.
